Privacy Policy for FlightStages

We have built FlightStages with a "privacy-first" mindset.

• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, email address, or physical home address.
• No Online Databases: We do not maintain any cloud databases to store your personal flight history or profile information.

To provide the core features of the app, we work with trusted service providers:

• Flight Data (Flightradar24): To provide you with real-time flight status and tracking, FlightStages retrieves information from Flightradar24. When the app requests this data, your IP address is shared with them as part of the standard technical request, but no other personal information is provided.
• API Hosting (Render): Our internal systems (APIs) are hosted on Render. Render acts as the secure bridge that allows the app to communicate with flight data sources. Render may log standard technical data (such as your IP address and device type) to ensure the security and performance of our services, but this data is not used to identify you personally.

We use a small amount of local storage on your device to make the app easier to use. This information stays on your phone and is never sent to our servers:

• App Status: We save a simple "status" marker to remember if you have completed the onboarding process. This ensures you don't have to see the welcome screens every time you open the app.

Our app may contain links to other websites or services. If you click on a third-party link (such as a link to an airline or airport website), you will be directed to that site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

Because we do not store your flight history or personal details on any remote servers, your information is only as accessible as your physical device. We recommend using standard device security (like a passcode or biometric lock) to keep your local app data private.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app, and the "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly.
